Where there is no cause, there is no commitment

What I’ve discovered over the past decades is this: staying committed to your cause — to yourself — is the anchor and North Star of life. Without a cause, we become drifters, swept by ever-changing winds, never truly anchoring into anything. It’s like passing by our own life. Awareness makes commitment easier. Only when you’re aware can you truly hold the reins.

TODAY’S GUESTION: WHO ARE YOU LIVING YOUR LIFE FOR? WHAT ARE YOU LIVING YOUR LIFE FOR?

What is your cause? Who is your cause, if not you? Or, if you are doing it all for your highest good, then in what context? The cause can be overall joy and pleasure. Enjoying the life. Actually that is the most grant cause you can ever come up with! Enjoying! ENJOY, you are IN JOY. But is there something even granter? Because your life is so sacred. I don’t mean biblical sacred or holy. No, I mean that life is sacred. It is one time opportunity in this human vehicle, temple, vessel you are in. Just be sure that your mind isn’t the one taking the action. That the one in lead is your consciousness, your eternal awareness. Your higher self.

Commitment, discipline, and purpose.
These days, everything feels fast, disposable, and sugar-coated—nothing really needs to feel like anything anymore. We watch our lives from the sidelines instead of taking the reins. Everything is already chewed up and served. At the first sign of discomfort, we want to quit.

And while life is meant to be full of joy and ease, there are moments when how we choose to respond—through which emotional lens we live—shapes everything.

Social media makes things look easy and effortless. But if anything, that world is one great illusion.
Artificial intelligence is an incredible tool for work and learning, yet it also means that anyone can create anything, without much commitment or meaning behind it. Purposefulness… it feels like it's gone missing.

But things begin to shift when a vision is so strong, so embodied, that you can feel it in every cell. Then nothing can shake you—at most, only momentarily. That vision isn’t found outside of you. And when you do find it, no one else needs to believe in it. This is where a kind of inner warrior steps in—with fierce devotion and presence.
You take a firm grip on your life.

The fast-paced, sugar-coated illusion and self-deception begin to transform into calm and quiet wisdom.
Into action, when the time is right. And into trust.

Can discipline and pleasure walk side by side—equal and aligned—guiding us toward our own fulfillment?

What does the word discipline bring up for you?

To me, discipline is a vital part of commitment. We are often ruled by impulses, making choices in pursuit of quick gratification.Yet it’s the disciplined choices that, over time, lead to beautiful outcomes—and ultimately bring deeper, more lasting pleasure in the present moment.

This is where conscious living comes in again.
When we are aware, it becomes easier to make choices that truly support our commitments. I've been questioned more than once for some of my personal choices—all of which support my wellbeing and my capacity to serve as a clear channel for the Mystery. But the stronger my motive, the easier it becomes to stay grounded in my convictions, fully aware, less ruled by mind.. even when my convictions are questioned by my surroundings.

And perhaps that’s the greatest paradox of it all:
The more devoted we are—the more we commit and choose consciously—the more we’re also asked to surrender.

All my life, I’ve been shown visions—almost like omens. And I’ve come to understand that when a vision is given, my task is not to figure it out, but to receive it. To accept it. To rest in the knowing it brings. To feel the frequency of that vision in my body. To let it anchor into my being.

But it is not my job to start building a mental roadmap. It is not for my mind to decide how things will unfold or in what order the pieces will come together. That was a hard lesson to learn.

Because once the vision is received, all that’s left to do is trust. To stay close to the feeling of it, and let the next step reveal itself in time.

It is not for my mind to decide.

“As I raise my hands, palms facing the sky. As my hands flow through the air and the energy flows up high, I’m given these omens. And then I rest in that sight. And the future show, how the sight unfold. I am here in silence, flowing in peace, with my highest guide, which is not my mind.”
