SACRIFICE FOR THE MACHINE
Joy and playfulness, that’s the key.
Our world is full of worry, our world is full of sorrow.
Adults are serious all the time, so many responsibilities.
We forget to celebrate LIFE!
And as we do then celebrate the celebration is because we’ve finally accomplished something. Or we save the joy for the weekends, because during the week we don’t have the time for that.
Have you ever payed attention to how one simple moment can be full of love and joy. If you only did what your soul was whispering for you to do. Or took a gaze with open heart. For example, if I close my eyes.. And pause for just a moment.. and let my mind rest, thoughts rest for a while… just observing.. how euphoric the feeling, sensation in my body gets immediately. Happiness starts float in. So simple. And takes only for few minutes.
LET’S GET SRTAIGHT TO THE BUSINESS
What I’m thinking here is that, could it be so that we want to stick with the hurry and seriousness, without understanding that ourselves? Are we taught that way by the society, religion, media, and people around us, even our own ancestors, during the years.. That it can’t be so, that we could actually posses everything we need for happiness and joy, in ourselves?
Our society has this wound that being kind, joyous and tender, smiling with ones heart, living arms open, is a sign of weakness. That those qualities don’t measure in the hard, cold world. That we are forced to build these protective layers around us, and always have our ‘game face’ on. That is sad. Sad because being kind, joyous and tender are exactly the qualities in human that makes us exceptional. One can be respected professionally and still live from the heart. As living from the heart, it is possible to observe the bigger picture first. And I am pretty sure that this is one of the reason, that people who listen to their soul, are often the ones following their very own trail. They just can’t sell themselves for the machine anymore. The price is too high.
ARE YOU AVAILABLE 24/7
They just don’t fit in any mold the society tries to fit them in to. Think of that.. how many times you’ve witnessed that? The same kind of robot-like behavior? Look alike..speak alike.. act alike.. producing, producing, producing… No wonder people with larger view can’t be a part of that pack.
It’s not the one time I’ve heard some company leader saying: ”If I call you in the middle of the night and ask the answer for this and that (very important) matter, the answer has to come as the flow of whatever that is flowing effortlessly.. Shouldn’t we sleep during the nights. Somehow the game has changed to the point when it is the sign of a hero to be available 24/7, and always ready to produce some more! Here comes the spoiler: after you are done and out, burned out, there’ll be another robot, and another and the game goes on. No one will remember your heroic sacrifice for the machine but you’ll remember it in your body, mind and soul for the rest of your life.
“WE HAVE TO WORK HARD HARD HARD”
I have one question for you: “How many times have you heard someone saying, we have to work hard hard hard, to achieve this and that?” That the HARD work pays off. We use the word HARD.
What does that word mean to you? What kind of energy it has for you? I mean, only by working hard, the things that we pursuit are accessible? That only then it is considered acceptable in our society.. I mean wouldn’t it be much better if we could work LIGHT and with joy for the cause we are working for. What if the leaders were the ones showing the way of heart and still reaching the goals? What if our world was filled with individuals instead of robots, look alikes, talk alikes and act alikes. As we work hard for the machine, we don’t have the time nor energy to experience the vastness of our surroundings anymore. We don’t have the capacity to ask questions. We have become productive robots.
WHAT IF, our world was filled with people who sang with the wind, danced in the rain and took some time to laugh during the week as well (not for other people but for pure joy). What if we built our world, our lives a bit different, respecting the humanity and cycles? Someone has said that longest path to take is from the mind to the heart. So, could you begin the pilgrimage today? one life, one heart. The biggest favor you could ever do for you. The biggest favor you could ever do for the world.
AND NOW, IF THE ANGER OR RESISTANCE IS STARTING TO SURFACE, YOU MAY WANT TO PAUSE AND PONDER WHY THAT MIGHT BE? WHAT MAKES YOU FEEL THAT WAY?
The easy recipe for joy, laugh, euphoria and miracles:
turning inwards: meditation
letting the mind rest, perhaps take a holiday even
free flow of voice; let the heart’s, the soul’s voice to be heard
acting from heart; what would love do
expressing hearts true wishes
living with open heart and noticing miracles around
laughing, laughing, laughing and dancing
But first, there is the pilgrimage ahead.. from mind to heart
